The Effingham Regional Growth Alliance has hired Craig A Nielson as its CEO. Nielson has some 29 years of experience in driving regional business growth. Nielson started his career in 1987 at the Hart Corporation, an international real estate company. Since then he has gained experience in managing corporate accounts, marketing, site marketing, site selection, and managing economic development throughout the Midwest.
“I appreciate everyone who was a part of this search. It was an extensive process and many people and organizations were involved to make sure we found the right person. We are fortunate to find someone of Craig’s caliber. He will be an excellent compliment to the skills and expertise already in place.” Said Alliance Chairman Chuck Deters.
Nielson Graduated from Arizona State University Tempe in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. He has been a member of both Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) since 2002.
“I am excited to have been chosen for this position. Effingham County is poised for growth and development. I look forward to working with community and business leaders to make this happen,” Nielson said.
