Three 16-year-old female juveniles, from Salem, were injured in a Marion County accident on Saturday evening.
The three juveniles were traveling, at a high rate of speed, eastbound on Tonti Road. They lost control of the vehicle while crossing a bridge, leaving the roadway to the north. The vehicle collided with a tree and traveled back onto the roadway, coming to a rest. The three juveniles were transported to Salem Hospital for treatment.
The driver was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and for being a graduated driver’s license holder with too many passengers in the vehicle.
