Flash Flood Warning: A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Southeastern Clay County until 4:30pm. At 12:33pm, thunderstorms producing heavy rain have been located near Clay County. It has been estimated that 1.5-2.5 inches of rain has fallen since 11:30am in areas from Southwest Flora to Clay City. Impacted include: Flora, Clay City, Sailor Springs, and Wendelin.
Flash Flood Watch: A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Crawford, Clay, Effingham, Jasper, Lawrence, and Richland counties from 1:00pm Saturday to Monday Evening. A slow-moving cold front is moving into the area, bringing showers and thunderstorms. Heavy rainfall and flooding is expected.
