Robinson’s offense was too much for St. Anthony on the softball diamond. The Maroons won the game 16-0, with 11 of the runs coming in the third inning. Kirby Mendenhall pitched a no-hitter for Robinson. She also struck out six batters. St. Anthony’s pitching struggled with control, walking 18 batters. St. Anthony is now 3-4 on the season.
Teutopolis improved to 5-0 with their 14-0 win over Charleston. Kadi Borries was perfect on the mound for the Shoes, pitching six hitless innings and striking out 8. Teutopolis’ bats put on a power display in the win, hitting five homeruns. The five home runs came from Raegan Drees, Anni Borries, Allison Apke, and Jessica Drees. Apke hit two in the ball game.
