The Cumberland Pirates saw their 2015-2016 basketball season come to an end Tuesday night in a Regional semi-final loss to Lawrenceville. After advancing Monday with a 72-48 win over Casey Westfield, Cumberland fell to the top-seeded Lawrenceville Indians 103-51. The Indians knocked down 14 threes and forced 29 Cumberland turnovers. Lawrenceville was led by Harry Loeb’s 31 points. Brandon Shaon was Cumberland’s top scorer with 15 points. Ryan Green and Gunner McMechan were also in double figures for the Pirates with 11 and 10 points each. The Pirates season comes to an end with record of 17-12.
