The United Way of Effingham County recently completed their 2015 fundraising campaign, during which $329,910 was raised. Ameren and Patterson Technology Center were two of the local businesses that worked to raise money for the United Way, and they each recently presented their checks.
Marty Watson and employees of Ameren (seen above) presented a check to Cheryl Pruemer – Campaign Chair and representatives from United Way of Effingham County. Employee and company donations raised by Ameren during their 2015 Campaign totaled $22,729.

Roy Shelley, United Way Board member and other employees of Patterson Technology Center, presented a check for $9,675 to Cheryl Pruemer – Campaign Chair and representatives from United Way of Effingham County for the 2015 Campaign, a 50% increase from last year. Funds were raised through their employee campaign and various fundraisers.
