The first crew of three docked and moved into the International Space Station, or ISS, on November 2, 2000. That means the ISS has been leading space discovery for 15 years. Just imagine how much technology has changed since then. I have trouble getting my iPhone to update properly. Yet, for 15 years 15 different countries, who often have extreme political differences, have maintained, crewed, and updated a $150 billion spacecraft. It is nothing short of inspirational. If the world could work together like the International Space Program does, it would be a much more harmonious place.
