The Dieterich Unit 30 Board of Education has approved the formation of the Dieterich After School Program. The program will be administered by the district, and housed in the school. It was determined that the program will operate immediately after the school day is over until 6:00pm. At this time the program is accepting students for a wait list.
In other action, the Board approved a Hazardous Route Resolution, This route allows the district to transport students kindergarten through 6th grade, who live within 1.5 miles of the school, north of Route 33. It was determined by the State that it was too hazardous for students to walk this route.
It was also announced that HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital made a donation of $9000 to be used for new technology purchases.
