The Birthday and Anniversaries will go out around 7 a.m. each morning on WCRC Monday - Friday during Woodys Roundup, and On Bill Burry's Show Saturday mornings. Please include who is having the birthday or anniversary, the date, and your message to them from you that you would like announced.

Submit your Local Event here. Our Local Events calendar is for a non profit events and organizations only. Our local events are read on air in a rotation basis and available on our website effinghamradio.com anytime. Please submit your information at least 48 hours before the event is being held. Please include all details of the event including dates, location, and contact information for anyone who would need more information.

Trading Post
Our trading post airs Monday - Friday from 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. on WCRA AM 1090 / 104.7 FM Submit your item or items that you are wanting to buy, sell, or trade for Bev to announce, she also takes call-ins during the show at 217-342-9597 Please be sure to submit what the item is, the cost, location, and contact information. If you have sold a listed item or found what you were looking for please let us know here as well so we can remove it. We ask that you please limit items to five per household. We cannot accept some items, such as vehicles that have highway access, real estate, mattresses, waterbeds, plants, weapons, or food.
