High School Girls Basketball
Altamont won 57-47 against St. Anthony. Scoring for Altamont Tinley Mette led the way scoring 19 points, Brooke Runge 9, Guse 7, Mayhaus 6, Jackman 6, Schultz 6 and Hardiek 4. Scoring for St. Anthony McHugh had 15 points, Guy 8, Jones 8, Gibson 8, Repking 4, Hartke 2 and Beesley 2. Altamont also won the JV contest 40-25 with Guse leading the way for Altamont with 11 and Guy also with 11 leading the way for St.A. Altamont now moves to 8-1 overall on the season and 3-0 in the NTC. St. A drops to 6-3 on the season and 2-1 in the NTC

Charleston defeated Effingham 51-4. Scoring for Charleston Littleford had 23 points, Jackson 11, Buescher 8, Bollant 7 and Crowder 2. Scoring for Effingham Carie had 18 points, Fox 7, Wesi 6, Schafer 5 and Kuhlman had 4. Effingham won the JV contest 45-32. Effingham falls to 6-1 on the season and Charleston improves to 8-0 on the season.

St. Antony defeated Effingham 39-37 in the freshman contest Leading the way for St. A was Colton Fearday had 14 and Pals led the way for the Hearts with 10.
St. Anthony won the sophomore contest as well 52-43. Leading the way for St. A was Justin Ruholl had 14 and leading the way for Effingham was Lee with 15 points.
