Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- On Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at approximately 8:04 A.M. Officers and Detectives with Effingham Police Department executed a search warrant at a mobile home located in Four Seasons Trailer Park, based upon an investigation into the delivery of methamphetamine.
Upon the initial search, one female, 28 year old, Adrian E. Mitchell, of St. Elmo, was located inside the residence and taken into custody on two outstanding warrants.
The search of the residence yielded over 30 grams of methamphetamine as well as heroin, multiple items of drug paraphernalia and an undetermined amount of currency. Two suspects, identified as 51 year old, Dannie B. Foster, of Effingham, IL and 33 year old, Jeremy R. Westpfahl, of Altamont, IL were not in the residence at the time the search commenced, but were later taken into custody in Altamont with assistance from Effingham County Sheriff’s Department and Altamont Police Department.
The two male arrestees made their initial appearance in court on Friday, July 20th, and formal charges were brought by Effingham County State’s Attorney Bryan Kibler. Foster is charged with Manufacture/Delivery Methamphetamine >15 Grams but not more than 100 Grams (Class X Felony) and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin) (Class 1 Felony). Bond is currently set at $1,000,000 for Foster. Westpfahl is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine 15 Grams or Greater (Class 1 Felony), with bond set at $75,000.
