The Clay County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a motor vehicle accident at 1:35 p.m. at the 400 Block of Hanging Rock Road. Apparently 48 year old, Jason E. Perrine, of Rinard, IL was operating a 1998 Ford van and was travelling south on Hanging Rock Road. Perrine lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway striking a shrub, landscape rock, a culvert and then coming to rest in the ditch. Perrine was cited for Operation of Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Driving Under the Influence of Alcoholic Beverage, Driving While Driver’s License Suspended and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident. Bond set at $3,000.00 (10%). He posted bond and was released.

61 year old, Kevin R. Warren, of Fairfield, IL was arrested on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle. Bond set at $10,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy was notified of an altercation at the 300 Block of N. 1st St. N.W., Clay City. Upon further investigation, 21 year old, Trenton Weaver, of Evansville, IN and 20 year old, Autumn Mathews, of Mt. Carmel, IL were both cited for Clay City Ordinance for Fighting. Both were given a Notice to Appear and released.

Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 34 year old, Renee Pride, of Clay City, IL on an outstanding Clay County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond set at $4,000.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. She is currently incarcerated in the Clay County Jail.

Clay County Sheriff’s Deputy arrested 21 year old, Jordan Losier, of Ramsey, IL on an outstanding Fayette County warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Criminal Trespass to Residence. Bond set at $2,500.00 (10%), plus $75.00 warrant fee. He was transported to Fayette County Jail.
THESE CHARGES ARE MERELY ACCUSATION AND THE DEFENDANTS ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNLESS PROVEN GUILTY
