Effingham, IL – (Effingham Radio) – The City of Effingham would like to congratulate Jodi Thoele on being awarded Employee of the Quarter as a part of the City’s Employee Recognition Program.
The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who demonstrated either distinguished or extraordinary service during the fiscal quarter or other accomplishments that typically go unnoticed but are worthy of recognition.
Thoele was nominated for this award for her recent accomplishment to bring the Tourism budget back into balance, with a surplus.
She constantly goes above and beyond to interact with event coordinators on new and ongoing festivals in the City of Effingham.
Thoele always has a great attitude and is a superb representative of the City and the Tourism Department.
Thoele has also continued to pursue new projects for the Tourism Department, including celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the Sculpture on the Avenues.
She works well with other departments and is a valuable and deserving employee.
