Effingham, IL – (Effingham Radio) National Bank recently announced the addition of Jeff Bloemker to its lending team.
Bloemker’s focus will be on commercial business development, marketing, and brand development.
National Bank Senior Lending Officer, Justin Holderread, said the Bank is excited to have Bloemker join the Effingham team.
“Jeff grew up in Effingham, has deep roots in the community and solid business relationships throughout the area that have helped him hit the ground running in his new position with National Bank,” said Holderread.
“I am absolutely honored to join a financial institution such as National Bank,” said Bloemker. “This organization is comprised of down-to-Earth people who are responsive and creative in addressing their customers’ needs. And this correlates well with the business mentors and organizations with whom I’ve been associated in the past. It’s a perfect fit with a strong focus on community development.”
Bloemker has held senior management and marketing positions with a beneficial variety of Effingham businesses over the past twenty-five years, including Mid America Motorworks, Agracel, and Heartland Human Services.
In addition, Bloemker has been very active in civic efforts, having served on the boards of the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce, Effingham County Board of Health, Effingham Noon Rotary Club, Effingham Unit 40 Educational Foundation, and the Eastern Illinois University Business School Advisory Board.
Bloemker is also the current mayor of the City of Effingham and previously served on the city’s Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals.
