Springfield, IL – (Effingham Radio) – Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner will have to decide if gun owners in the state will have to wait three days to buy a new gun.
The Illinois Senate yesterday agreed with the plan to create a 72 hour waiting period for all weapons.
There was already a 24 hour waiting period for rifles.
Supporters of the plan say the waiting period will be a chance for people to ‘cool off’ before buying a new gun.
