TAZEWELL COUNTY, IL -(Effingham Radio)- In the latest information regarding the shooting in Nashville this Morning.
Travis Reinking, 29, of Morton, Illinois is accused of leaving 4 people dead, and 2 wounded in Nashville Tennessee.
According to Metro News’ Mark lineberger, “The gunman, said to be naked except for a green jacket, started shooting at the Nashville restaurant just before 3:30 this morning.”
At the time of the shooting a man, reported by CBS as James Shaw Jr., 29, wrestled with Reinking taking the firearm, before Reinking allegedly left.
Reinking, since the incident, has been placed on the Tennesse Top 10 Most Wanted list.
Earlier today at approximate 2:47 p.m., Metro News’ Wafa Shahid reported that in 2017 Reinking had been in possession of firearms, but had to surrender to them to police.
In a news conference earlier today, Tazewell County Sheriff Robert Huston said Reinking had surrendered 4 firearms after being arrested by the U.S. Secret Service for being in a restricted area of the White House in July of last year
According to Shahid, it is still unclear as to how Reinking did repossess the firearms.
In that same conference Huston added Reinking may have mental health issues, and as of earlier today is still at large.
