After 16 seasons in the NFL, Dwight Freeney is retiring.
It was recently announced that Freeney signed a one-day contract with the Indianapolis Colts for his retirement. Freeney earned a Super Bowl ring with the Colts in 2007 and a decade later, returned to the title game with the Falcons. During his career, Freeney has earned three first-team All-Pro nods and seven Pro Bowl trips.
Freeney will retire 125.5 sacks and is tied with Terrell Suggs from Baltimore for 17th on the all-time list.
