EFFINGHAM, IL-(EFFINGHAM RADIO)- The Effingham Unit #40 Board of Education is set to meet on Monday, April 23rd at 6:00pm.
During the meeting, the Board will discuss and take possible action on one item of old business and six items of new business.
These are the Board Policy changes and updates, the disposal of old uniforms, authorizing Glass & Shuffett to conduct the FY18 audit, the fee schedule for 2018-2019, the renewal of catastrophic injury insurance, a safety and security discussion, and a discussion regarding the grading scale.
The Board will also hear the financial report and the Superintendents report.
They will also go into closed session.
While in closed session, the Board will discuss and take possible action on “the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1), collective negotiating matters between the District and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(4), and student disciplinary cases 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(9).”
The Effingham Board of Education will meet in the Unit #40 Board Office on Banker Street.
