EFFINGHAM, IL -(Effingham Radio)- This week is TC week, and The Effingham County Sheriff’s Department, recognized the hard work of their telecommunicators who work around the clock with the departments.
In a shared statement by ECSD they stated, “We are truly blessed to have such a caring and professional staff manning our Control Center.”
“These people change lives on a daily basis and they are the life blood of our Patrol Section, Fire and EMS.”
The statement continued on saying, “They are the first link in the chain of help offered by our Office to the citizens we serve. Without them, we would not be the professional organization we are.”
In addition to ECSD, Effingham Police Chief, Jeff Fuesting Shared Remarks earlier today showing his appreciation as well.
National Public Safety Telecommunicators week begins 2day. I’m honored to work w/ a group of men & women who are committed to serving day & night. Though they may not work in the field, their work is just as important to protecting & serving our community. @effinghamil #EPDstrong
