ALTAMONT, IL-(Effingham Radio)– The Altamont Board of Education is set to meet on Monday, April 9th.
After calling the meeting to order, the Board will give the public a chance to comment before considering approval of the consent agenda.
The Board will then hear Administrative Reports.
These Administrative Reports include the extracurricular from Mr Biggs, Altamont Grade School from Mr Hill, Altamont Community High School from Mr Tkachuk, and District #10 from Mr Fritchtnitch.
The Board will then consider approval of five items of old business.
These are the ACHS Assessment data, AGS Mystery Science Curriculum, Summer Custodial, Full-time Custodial/Grounds Position, and Review of Board Goal Setting/Strategic Planning.
The Board will then go into closed session, to discuss “the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District and collective bargaining matters between the District and its employees or their representatives, or deliberations concerning salary schedules for one or more classes of employees”.
Additionally, the Board will consider five items of new business.
These are the employment of non-certified staff, a resolution for the adoption of a transfer of funds, the IESA 2018/2019 registration, the annual review of bonds and status, and the budget and finance general discussion.
The Altamont Board of Education will meet in the Unit Office at 7 South Ewing Street in Altamont.
