Effingham, Ill. – Managing volunteers can be very different than managing paid staff; however, one thing remains the same: they are professionals and should be treated as such.
If done right, organizations can develop a “family” of people who not only support them but are ambassadors for their mission.
In this two-part session hosted by Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation and Forefront, participants will explore the recruitment, engagement, evaluation and celebration of the organization’s volunteer base.
Volunteer Management 101 is part one of a two-part series and will be held on Thursday, March 22 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Dieterich Bank Corporate Center at 300 Sur Woods Drive in Effingham.
The cost of this event is $15 for Forefront members and $25 for non-members. To register, visit https://myforefront.org/events/volunteer-management-101-effingham.
Volunteer Management 201 is scheduled for Thursday, April 5 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
