The Effingham City Council is set to have two meetings on Tuesday.
The first meeting is a special meeting at 5:00pm. During the meeting, the Council will hear a presentation from Administrator Arndt in regards to the FY 2019 Budget Workshop. There will then be a section for public participation before this meeting adjourns.
The second meeting is the regularly scheduled City Council meeting. During this meeting, the Council will hear a Mayoral Proclamation regarding Building Safety Month, March for Meals Month, the Chief’s Commendation Award from Chief Fuesting, and the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce’s results of the Life & Work in Effingham County Survey. The Council will then appoint a member to the Fire and Police Commission of the City. They will also discuss the school resource officer program, an ordinance that establishes the pay ranges for various non-union salaried and hourly positions, and the downtown rehabilitation project.
The Effingham City Council meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers of City Hall.
