- Jordan J. Kollman, 21, of Effingham was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for an original warrant of aggravated fleeing, attempt to elude a police officer, and failure to appear on an original warrant of possession of methamphetamine (<5 grams). Kollman is in jail.
- Brandon J. Bennett, 26, of St Peter received mittimus by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for driving with a suspended license and was sentenced to a 15 day work release. Bennett is in jail.
- Heather A. Biggs, 43, of Altamont was arrested by the Effingham Police Department for attempt to obtain a controlled substance thru deception. Biggs is in jail.
- Scott A. Williams 45, of Toledo was arrested by Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, and driving under the influence of alcohol. Williams is in jail.
- Jordana A. Pearcy, 39, of Altamont was arrested by Altamont Police Department for an original warrant of attachment for contempt.

Mattoon Police arrested Amy D. Valentino, 50 years of age of Mattoon, for the offenses of Disorderly Conduct and Threatening a Public Official. The arrest occurred on 2/6/18 at 4:34pm in the 1200 block of Lafayette Ave in Mattoon. The charges allege that on 2/6/18, Ms. Valentino caused a breach of the peace in the area she was arrested, by way of being outside yelling profanities at another female subject. Charges also allege that when police responded to investigate the matter, Ms. Valentino directed threats of bodily harm to them. Ms. Valentino was taken to the Coles County Jail.

Mattoon Police arrested Anthony A. Vaulltonburg, 29 years of age of Mattoon, for the offense of Domestic Battery. The arrest occurred on 2/6/18 at 6:37pm in the 400 block of South 15thStreet in Mattoon. The charge alleges that on 2/6/18, Mr. Vaultonburg struck a female during a domestic dispute. Mr. Vaultonburg was taken to the Coles County Jail.
