Effingham, Il – Yesterday, Hannah M. Shearer, 25, of St. Elmo was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department for an original warrant in Fayette County for Larceny.
The Fayette County State’s Attorney’s Office Released the details of the warrant, stating that on October 24, 2017, Shearer had knowingly attempted to acquire gasoline for her vehicle from Jack Flash, and “intending to deprive the business permanently of the benefit of the property.”
The Details of the warrant added that Shearer also had previous theft convictions in Effingham County,
Shearer has had multiple arrests made against her dating back to December 2016 from Effingham & Marion County, with warrants filed there as well as Macon County.
The charges now being faced by Shearer are considered a Class 4 Felony
Shearer has seen multiple charges since 2016.
Some of the arrests she has seen are as follows:
- December 26, 2016: Failure to appear on possession of adulterants (Effingham County)
- February 14, 2017: PTR warrant for Manufacture/Possess/Adulterants, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Drug Paraphernalia. (Effingham County)
- June 28, 2017: PTR warrant for Manufacture/Possess/Adulterants, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Drug Paraphernalia. (Effingham County)
- Oct. 22, 2017: Failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance. (Effingham County)

January 2, 2018: Failure to appear on an original warrant in Macon County for possession of a controlled substance. (Marion County)

Shearer is currently being held at Effingham County Jail.
