The Brownstown School Board is set to meet at 6:30pm on Monday, December 18th.
During the meeting, the Board will hear from a representative from Central State Bus. The Board will then act on the consent agenda and hear reports from the Elementary Principal and Jr/Sr High Principal, before heading into closed session. While in closed session, the Board will discuss matters dealing with “the appointment, employment, compensations, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity”. The Board will then leave closed session and discuss new business including the tax levy, Board Policy updates, administrative contracts, leasing a 14 passenger multi-function school/activity bus, declaration and sale of surplus property, and the Board of Education/Superintendent 3-year plan.
