Effingham, Il (Via Oak Park, IL) – Three teens in Illinois are accused of trying to rob a store but their plans literally fell to pieces.
Two girls and one boy went into the Oak Park business earlier this week with a toy gun but the heist went south when the fake weapon fell and broke apart.
They were there demanding money but the clerk told them to get out of the store when the plastic pieces shattered all over the place.
They were chased away but did grab a couple of dollars worth of lollipops on the way out.
