The Homecoming attendants and Queen candidates for Teutopolis High School have been announced.
Teutopolis’ Homecoming game will be played on Friday, December 8th against Bloomington Central Catholic. The Junior Varsity game will kick-off the evening at 6:15pm and the 2017 Homecoming Court will be announced between games. On Saturday, December 9th, the Homecoming dance will be held at the Bishop Parish Center in rural Dieterich. Currently, tickets are being sold by the Student Council before school and during lunch. Parents and the community are asked to view the coronation at the game rather than at the dance.
The Homecoming court includes Freshman Attendants, Kylie Hoelscher and Evan Wermert, Sophomore Attendants, Karsyn Mette and Josh Hardiek, and Junior Attendants, Hannah Pruemer and Drew Heuerman. Retiring 2016 Homecoming Queen, Mikaele Deters will be escorted by Michael Deters and will present the new Homecoming Queen. The three Queen candidates for 2017 are Jillian Allen, daughter of Brian and Ali Bloemer, Jolene Bueker, daughter of Bruce and Carol Bueker, and Courtney Hoene, daughter of Bert and Kathy Hoene. Miss Allen will be escorted by Jesse Zerrusen, Miss Bueker will be escorted by Levi Zumbahlen, and Miss Hoene will be escorted by Evan Blievernicht.
