The Annual Effingham Elk’s SNAP Dance will be held tonight at the Effingham Elk’s Lodge from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
We recently spoke with Amanda Hoelscher in regards to the dance. According to Hoelscher, the dance is a time for families with kids with special needs to have fun without being judged for their disability. Although the dance is geared towards children with special needs, all children are invited to the dance.
The dance will include food, drinks, games, prizes, and a photo booth. According to Hoelscher, all children will have the chance to win prizes and special prizes are reserved for those with special needs. This dance is a no cost event, as the Elk’s Club receives a grant each year for the dance.
The Effingham Elk’s Lodge is located on Banker Street in front of the Village Square Mall.
