Effingham finished the regular season strong with a 48-15 win against Salem. Terrence Hill did his part as he scored two rushing touchdowns. Salem did get on the board first after Effingham fumbled on their first play. Effingham tied the game on a five yard touchdown pass from Landon Wolfe to Logan Smith. The PAT by Danny Hortenstine was good which set the record for most PAT’s in school history. In the second quarter Dylan Bushur took a punt 68 yards for another Effingham touchdown. Wolfe scored on a three yard touchdown to go up 21-7 with under 8 minutes left. Effingham recovered the kickoff and Hill scored two plays later from 24 yards out. On Effingham’s next drive Hill scored from six yards out to make it 34-7. Effingham then scored as Wolfe found Jordan McCabe for a 55 yard touchdown on a 3rd and 26, to give Effingham a 41-7 lead at the half. Effingham finishes the regular season with an 8-1 record.
