Formal charges were filed by the Macon County State’s Attorney’s Office for the three people that were arrested in connection with the murder of a Windsor man.
20 year old, Ryan Waters, 27 year old, Jason Alex White, and 26 year old, Autumn Billings, all of Decatur were recently arrested by the Decatur Police Department for their suspected involvement in the murder of Zachary Hubbartt, of Windsor. We spoke with Macon County State’s Attorney, Jay Scott recently. Attorney Scott stated that both Waters and White were charged with four counts of Murder, a Class M Felony, and one count of Armed Robbery with a Firearm, a Class X Felony. Billings was charged with Obstruction of Justice, a Class 4 Felony. According to Attorney Scott, if convicted, Waters faces 20-60 years plus 15 years in prison, Billings faces 1-3 years, and White faces 20-60 years. Also, White could face an additional 25 years to life as he allegedly fired the gun that killed Hubbartt.
According to Attorney Scott, Hubbartt was discovered on August 27th after he had been shot numerous times in a Decatur Home.
