One person was injured in an accident that occurred on I-70 eastbound at 1:04am on Thursday.
According to a report from the Illinois State Police, 26 year old, Sean J Sampson-Audroff, of Huntington, West Virginia was traveling eastbound on I-70 near milepost 137. Sampson-Audroff told police that he began to fall asleep. The vehicle then began to veer to the right and left the roadway. It then struck small trees and a wire fence. The vehicle came to a rest approximately 100 feet from the roadway.
Sampson-Audroff was taken to Union Hospital in Terre Haute for treatment. He was cited for improper lane usage.
