A Greenup man charged with Armed Robbery was recently found to be fit to stand trial.
68 year old, David Croy appeared in court last Monday, June 19th along with Defense Attorney Deters and State’s Attorney Robbins. During the hearing, the court determined that Croy is fit to stand trial, after undergoing a psychological examination. A pre-trial conference will be held on August 7th at 10am and Croy’s jury trial is set to be held on August 16th at 8:30am.
Croy is charged with Armed Robbery, a Class X Felony. He was arrested in March for a robbery that took place at the Dollar General located on North Haughton Highway in Greenup.
