We received a report from Effingham Unit #40 Superintendent, Mark Doan, regarding the bus routes.
According to Superintendent Doan, flooding in the area might have bridges and roadways in the district impassable. Despite this, the District buses will take alternate routes to ensure that all students are taken home safely. The District is also planning on being in session on Friday. They are reminding parents/guardians that due to the need to use alternate routes, bus routes tonight and tomorrow may be delayed. They are asking parents/guardians that are planning on picking up students to contact their child’s school so arrangements may be made.
