The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the 100th day of their Centennial on Monday, April 10th from 10AM-Noon at Martin’s IGA in Effingham. The event will include cupcakes for the first 100 people to stop by and take a picture with the Chamber’s Centennial Celebration cake.
Established on January 17, 1917 as the Effingham Merchant’s Association, the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce currently has 570 members. The chamber focuses on workforce and business development with their Business Outreach Center initiative. Additionally, the Chamber helped to establish the County’s 911 Board and the CEO Program.
