The Teutopolis Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, March 15th.
At their meeting. The Board passed a new Resolution that will allow the South Central Illinois Regional Planning & Development Commission to do a feasibility study for the new TIF district. This study will provide a designated portion of the Village that can be used as a redevelopment area.
Additionally, the Board answered questions that a resident had regarding the development of land in the area of Columbus St, Southern Row, and Elm St. The resident asked questions regarding the price of new sewer and the requirements for sidewalks.
Additional business that the Board covered in their meeting includes,
- Approved the minutes and Treasurer’s Report
- Agreed to renew membership in a National Road publication.
- Village Clerk mentioned the Baby Huey’s will be in Teutopolis for recycling on April 8th
The Teutopolis Board of Trustees will meet on April 5th.
