The fourth annual “In Memory of Chloe West Toy Drive” is being held during the month of February. During February, toys are being collected by multiple businesses and organizations. These toys will then be delivered in March to St. Louis Children’s Hospital. They will then be given to the patients.
This toy drive is being held in the memory of Chloe West, who was 13 months old when she was diagnosed with PreB AL Leukemia. For 4 years, Chloe attended St. Louis Children’s Hospital for treatments, surgeries, and blood and platelet transfusions. Chloe lost her battle with Leukemia in May of 2013.
Toy collection sites are available at Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota, Culver’s, Miller Fertilizer & Feed, and Extreme Hair Salon. Daisy Girl Scouts, Holly Slayback, and Debbie Allen are collecting toys as well. Toys must be new due to the lowered immune systems of the children at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
