Effingham County Jail Bookings – February 6, 2017:
- 51-year-old Penny E. Logsdon, of Eldorado, IL, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County Mittimus for 5 days on DUI/Alcohol.
- 39-year-old Nicole E. Rose, of Mt. Prospect, IL, was arrested by the Illinois State Police and charged with Driving While Licence Revoked and Speeding. Bond of $150 was posted.
- 19-year-old Jacob Fairbanks, of Effingham, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County Warrant for Aggravated Battery to a Victim Over 60.
- 54-year-old Kelly D. Brimer, of East Alton, IL, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County Attachment for Contempt. Bond of $100 was posted.
- 22-year-old Nathan F. Rouleau, of Altamont, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County warrant for Theft.
- Christopher M. Baker, of Watson, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department on an Effingham County Mittimus for 30 days on for Possession of Methamphetamine.
- 19-year-old Haley R. Brindos, of Louisville, was arrested by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Department and charged with Driving While Licence Suspended, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Speeding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Civil), and Possession of Cannabis under 2.5 grams (Civil).

CRASHES
February 1, 2017:
- At 7:00 PM at 1507 Hampton an unknown vehicle struck a parked vehicle owned by Thomas Brady, Altamont. No injuries and no citations at this time.
February 6, 2017:
- At 2:42 PM south of the intersection of Banker and Jaycee a vehicle driven by Alyssa N. Stanford, 20, Flora, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Janet L. Wasson, 55, Louisville. No injuries and no citations.
- At 3:00 PM east of the intersection of Douglas and Park a vehicle driven by Blake C. Stuckey, 18, Effingham, backed into a parked vehicle owned by Todd Feldcamp, Effingham. No injuries and no citations.
February 7, 2017:
- At 12:58 AM at 420 W. Industrial a vehicle driven by George N. Burries, 49, Mattoon, Drove over a concrete barrier, striking and damaging a sign and then a building. No Injuries. Burries was ticketed for Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle.
INVESTIGATIONS
- Criminal damage occurred to a box truck owned by Pepsi while parked ar 1400 W. Jaycee between 6:00 PM 2/3/17 and 8:14 AM 2/6/17. The ignition panel sustained $500 in damage.
- Theft from three coin operated machines occurred at Hampton Inn and Suites, 1305 N. Keller, between 2:00 PM 2/5/17 and 8:14 AM 2/6/17. An undetermined amount of cash was stolen. Each vending machine sustained damage during the incident.
- Theft from a coin operated machine occurred at Domino’s Pizza, 101 S. Henrietta, between 12:00 AM 2/5/17 and 11:30 AM 2/6/17. An undetermined amount of cash was stolen. An exterior lock sustained damage during the incident.
