2017 is a new year for most, but it will the first year of two-day-old Luella Diane Stice who is the first baby born at HSHS St. Anthony’s Hospital in the new year. Luella was born at 3:12 p.m. Sunday afternoon to parents Kenny and Martha Stice, of Teutopolis.

Luella came in weighting 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was measured at 21 inches long. Her parents were presented with a gift basket from St. Anthony’s Women and Children’s Care staff in celebration of her being the 2017 New Year’s baby.
