Two students have been awarded scholarships from the Clay County Hospital Endowment Foundation. These awards are given to Clay County Hospital employees who are furthering their education or participating in training programs. $2000 was awarded for the Spring 2016 Semester.
“It is an absolute privilege to be able to award these well-deserving students and employees on behalf of the Clay County Hospital Endowment Foundation,” said Emily Miller, Clay County Hospital Marketing/Foundation Coordinator.
Students who received the scholarships are Kristin Mullinex, of Flora, who is pursuing an Associate degree in Business Management at Frontier Community College/Wabash Valley College and Thomas Bates, also of Flora, who is pursuing an Associate Degree in nursing at Frontier Community College. Scholarships are awarded twice yearly by the foundation.
“It is through the generosity and commitment from our community of caring donors that these scholarships funds are made available,” Miller continued.
