One man and two women were charged in Fayette County Court last week with possession of methamphetamine as well as other charges. 33-year old Elizabeth R. Donaldson of Vandalia has been charged with one count of unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class X Felony, as she is alleged to have “knowingly possessed with the intent to deliver more than 15 grams but less than 100 grams of methamphetamine.” Donaldson is also charged with one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 1 Felony, and one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor.
36-year old Shawn A. Allen of Vandalia has been charged with five counts of possession of a firearm without requisite firearm owner’s ID, all of which are Class 3 Felonies. Allen is also charged with one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 Felony, for allegedly possessing less than 5 grams of methamphetamine and is charged with one count of possession on a controlled substance, a Class 4 Felony, for allegedly “possessing a substance containing suboxone,” and also faces one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor.
31-year old Valerie A. Smith of Ramsey has been charged with one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine, a Class 3 Felony, for allegedly possessing less than 5 grams of methamphetamine and is charged with one count of possession on a controlled substance, a Class 4 Felony, for allegedly “possessing a substance containing suboxone.” Smith also faces one count of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A Misdemeanor.
