Two were inured after a collision on 1650th Street, a quarter-mile north of 1600th Avenue, in Douglas Township early Tuesday.
The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office reported that while traveling southbound on 1650th Street, a vehicle driven by Donald Fulk, of Teutopolis, had slowed to cross a snow covered overpass when another vehicle, driven by a 16-year-old male, of Effingham, collided with the rear of his vehicle. Fulk, and passenger Sharon A. Fulk, were both transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital for treatment.
The 16-year-old was ticketed for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
