A woman in New York is being sued by her neighbor for going overboard with the holiday spirit.
Lisa Maria Falcone, an upper East side socialite and wife of billionaire hedge fund operator Phillip Falcone, is being taken to court by her neighbor, Nick Wilder. Wilder says that Falcone’s gaudy Christmas display blasts holiday music 24/7 and he’s had just about enough of it.
“It’s not like she plays it a half-hour every day. It’s on from 7 a.m. to midnight,” he told the New York Post. “I like a Christmas song on Christmas Day. But I’m tired of hearing ‘Jingle Bells’ like 700 or 800 times a day.’’
Wilder, who is a lawyer, is seeking an injunction to get her to stop.
“She’s a prima donna who thinks she can do anything she wants without consideration for anybody,’’ Wilder fumed.
“She’s invading other people’s homes with her elevator music.’’
