Teutopolis Board of Trustees Approve Employee Christmas Bonus

The Teutopolis Board of Trustees met on Wednesday, December 7th.

In the meeting, the Board approved the minutes from November 16th’s meeting. The Board then approved two pay estimates. The first estimate is for $172,377 to B&T Drainage; the second is for $19,664.95 to Connor and Connor Engineers.

Additionally, the Board approved both items of new business that they had. The first was the consideration and passing of Ordinance No. 871, amending the Liquor Ordinance. The Board was addressed by Ryan Spencer at their November 2nd meeting regarding his interest in establishing his micro-brewery business in  Teutopolis. The Board then decided at their November 16th meeting to charge $1000 for a Class E liquor license, the license needed by Spencer for the micro-brewery. The Board voted unanimously to approve these amendments at their meeting, Wednesday. The second new item of business was the approval of Christmas bonuses for Village employees. It was reported that last year’s bonuses were $100 per employee. The Board decided to keep the amount the same for this year.

The Teutopolis Board of Trustees met in the Teutopolis Village Hall at 106 W. Main St in Teutopolis.
