(Undated) — Illinois health officials are urging anyone who has not yet received a flu shot to get one as soon as possible. The recommendation comes as the country is observing National Influenza Vaccination Week. Flu activity usually peaks between December and March, a time when people are with families and out in their communities.
Flu Vaccinations are available at the Effingham County Health Department located at 901 W. Virginia Street in Effingham. Call 217-342-9237 to schedule an appointment.
