Cumberland couldn’t keep up with the Marshall Lions who defeated Cumberland 86-47. Marshall got an early lead going on a 10-0 run to start the game and led 22-7 after the first quarter. Marshall was led by Josiah Wallace who scored 21, including his 1,000th point. Marshall also got scoring from Spencer Schaffner who had 18 points and Jesse Burdick who scored 12 points. Cumberland was led by Tyson Maggee who had 18 points. Cumberland also got scoring from Cole Willenborg who had 9 points and Zach Wolke who had 8 points. Cumberland is now 4-1 on the season and will play at Casey-Westfield next Tuesday.
