(Springfield, IL) — Attorneys for former Illinois Congressman Aaron Schock are asking a federal judge to push back his arraignment on criminal charges. The Peoria native was indicted by a grand jury on two-dozen counts including theft of government funds, fraud, making false statements and filing false tax returns. Schock is scheduled to be arraigned in Springfield on November 22nd. His lawyers have requested that the court date take place in mid-December since Schock has plans to go out of the country next week.
