Charles Lee Cutright, age 86, of rural Casey, IL passed away at 12:55 a.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 30, 1930 in rural Casey, IL the son of Charles Franklin Cutright and Bernice Estella Short Cutright. On September 23, 1949 he married Velma Murphy in Toledo, IL.
Survivors include his wife, Velma Cutright of Casey, IL; daughters, Sharon Repp of Casey, IL; Cathy Parcel and husband Jerry of Martinsville, IL; Marsha Harms and husband Keith of Gifford, IL and Lisa Anderson and husband Kevin of Casey, IL; brother, Max Cutright of Ashmore, IL; sisters, Lela Hyland of Mattoon, IL and Elsie Dillier of Casey, IL; twelve grandsons, three granddaughters and twenty great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son in law, David Repp.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Markwell Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Inman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the Markwell Funeral Home, 200 N. Central Ave., Casey, IL.
Lee was a lifelong farmer. He was a former Union Township Trustee and a director on the Marshall Mutual Insurance Board for 35 years. Lee was a loving husband, father and family man; he was truly “the heart of the family.”
