(Springfield, IL) — The fundraising gap between incumbent U.S. Senator Mark Kirk and his challenger Tammy Duckworth is widening. Campaign documents released last week indicate Kirk raised just under one-point-two-million dollars from July to the end of September, while Congresswoman Duckworth raised just over four-million dollars. The amount of cash on hand for the two candidates is close to those numbers.
