While criticizing Republican presidential Candidate Donald Trump for his recently discovered comments on women from a 2005 recording, State Senator Dale Righter, of Illinois’ 55th District, said that he’ll be voting for the former reality TV host in November’s election. Citing Trump’s plans to reduce federal spending and tax plan as policy reasons, Senator Righer also expressed distrust of Democratic Candidate, and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton due to her mishandling of the Benghazi Terrorist Attacks.
Senator Righter zeroed in on government size as being a key issue in determining voter choice in this election season. He pointed to the Obama presidency as being one of the factors that has led to government bloating as well as a weaker stance when it comes to American foreign policy.
