State Senator Dale Righter, of Illinois’ 55th District, is currently away from Springfield doing some constituent work. According to him, the economy and Illinois’ lack of a 12 month budget are foremost on resident’s minds.
Senator Righter also said that Illinoisans had expressed concern over gridlock in Springfield, but he said that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Another issue Senator Righter is hearing from constituents, particularly employers, is that workers compensation is too high, causing Illinois to be less competitive than neighboring states.
